The Pirates actor has become a father for the second time in six months, once Moffett gave birth to daughter Olive last year. On turning into a "double-dad", he told Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell: "I adopted my wife's boy last year, thus I became a father twice."
He joked: "That's one thing of a record, isn't it?" Tennant - who voices Charles Darwin within the latest movie from Aardman Animations - admitted that he felt "slightly embarrassed" regarding promoting the film because the true stars are the animators themselves.
The former Doctor Who actor married Moffett in an intimate London ceremony in December.December.
